Asia Argento’s hugely troubling response to sexual assault allegations

From Donald Trump to Bill Cosby, powerful men accused of sexual misconduct, or their representatives, have frequently chosen to respond by denigrating their accusers. By smearing the women who have accused them as liars or gold diggers, these men damage the reputations of their accusers and contribute to a climate in which survivors of sexual misconduct are afraid to come forward.

Um, what happens if their accusers are lying? This nitwit is basically arguing that if someone accuses you of a crime you have an obligation to agree with them! Why? So you won't hurt someone's feelings and because apparently some women are too timid to come forward. This is complete insanity.

Granted in Argento's case it does appear that she is guilty as sin. She's been caught changing her story several times and there is photographic evidence. But spare me the "believe all accusers" BS. That's a return to the dark ages you fucking psychos.

They're throwing Argento under the bus because people are starting to call them raging hypocrites. So they're basically just trying to cover their asses. None of these feminist vultures actually care about victims, male or female.

She makes an interesting distinction, which shows her utter disregard for male victims. Look at how she describes the impact of Trump's words.

"but when those responses impugn the character of those who come forward, they can have devastating effects. Zervos’s suit against Trump, which is ongoing, offers a clear explanation of these effects.

“Mr. Trump knew that his false, disparaging statements would be heard and read by people around the world, and that these women, including Summer Zervos, would be subjected to threats of violence, economic harm, and reputational damage,” the suit says. “Mr. Trump knowingly, intentionally and maliciously threw each and every one of these women under the bus, with conscious disregard of the impact that repeatedly calling them liars would have upon their lives and reputations.”

Trumps attacks negatively affected his accusers, the women currently accusing him. How does she perceive Argento's?

"But by casting doubt on his previous lawsuit and painting him as a destitute and dangerous scammer, without any acknowledgment of the way her words might affect others who come forward about sexual misconduct, "

She damaged the movement and the victims who come after Jimmy Bennet, but not Jimmy Bennet. Interesting distinction for a movement she says should include male victims.
