Yes, it is. The hardest thing you'll face is getting your foot in the door of a regular job without any university. The best thing you can do to fix that problem is to create open source projects or help other people out on theirs. You really need something to show off your skills, so that people hiring you know you're not a retard.

I coded for 15 years then moved on to sales. I can still code, and sometimes still do on a personal project but 15 years, and I was completely burned out. I love traveling and meeting new people, so tech sales is where it's at for me right now. You may want to look into that, as selling also helps you develop your people skills.

Unless you can make some really outstanding projects in your own time, I'd fully recommend going the degree route. The majority of employers nowadays want you to have a BS, and not having one can greatly stunt your career progress.

His advice is incredible and I would go this route and get degree instead. I am almost done with degree and almost no employers gives a fuck about how well I did in it, they only care about expeirence and projects. Follow the advice of this guy and plan long-term.
