MGTOW are many things; Ascerbic, pessimistic, angry, spiteful, offensive, aggressive, etc.... but "soyboys"? nope, or at least I have not seen that to be the case in the vast majority of cases.

"incels"? doesn't matter. Most MGTOW deliberately steer clear of women for the most part.

I also have not found "circle-jerking" to be common, or even uncommon in the MGTOW community at large. MGTOW specifically means going your own way. A circle-jerk requires a consensus which goes against the very essence of MGTOW.

The title is deeply flawed, I can't imagine the video being better.

MGTOWs usually come from the guys who are not happy with the cultural expectations placed upon men when courting women. Many also tend to be anti-marriage advocates, which I can’t say I blame them based on court biases (women tend to get huge sums of money from their ex-husbands, mothers are often heavily preferred in custody battles, etc.).

The reason that one man put that comment about the woman who lied about being raped is due to the ridiculous sentences given to men who are convicted of rape. While a horrible crime in certain cases (I’d argue some rapes are misunderstandings when you look into the definition being “non-consensual” sex and how that’s often applied to include regret), why should someone who was proven to be lying about harming someone else’s reputation get off so easy? I argue for reduced sentencing of particular crimes in general (America is jail happy as all hell), but I think a person who is proven wrong (beyond a reasonable doubt, of course) in rape cases should get the sentence expected of someone who was convicted of rape (the accusation alone is detrimental of one’s reputation, so there should be a better deterrent instead of a one and a half month sentence).

This only came in the last part of the video, but the gun control thing kinda gets to me. While I’d like to think we can be more pro-gun control (though, using them for sport is cool, and hunting is necessary for some populations), I think it’s utterly pointless when most gun crime is committed using illegal methods of obtainment prior to murder. Also, young men aren’t going to stop bringing harm to themselves and others just because people took their guns from them, as evidenced by the knife attacks in the UK (and pretty much anywhere else that practices significant gun control). It’s time we start realizing the cultural issues that are plaguing these young men (whether it’s because they have mental issues, are suicidal, are involved in other crime, etc.) to be driven to murder instead of punishing law abiding citizens.

Anyway, didn’t dislike the humor you put in, personally. I always find myself wavering between “they deserve our understanding” and “but it’s for the sake of humor” quite often with content like this. However, I suppose there’s a place for both.
