the 40+ let alone 30+ dating pool is full of Girls who love to travel. Pretty much ever other dating profile on dating sites the Woman states she loves to travel, and that travel is very important to her.

Now to my Male mind this is irrational and irresponsible.

  • 1) who the fuck doesn't like to go on vacations to nice places. You don't have to work, you get to have fun and see interesting things. So "duh" of course vacations are great.

  • 2) It's expensive. Jetting off to India for a 1 month "finding yourself" expedition costs allot of money. Money that would be wiser spend on your mortgage, invested or placed in an RRSP.

Excessive travelling to me, is a sign of irresponsibility with money and the need for gratification, thus lack of willpower to deny oneself gratification in the short term for financial benefit and security in the long term. To me it's basically childish behavior. Don't worry about tomorrow, think only of today.
