Ruin a person's career and destroy their life; slap on the wrist if you're female. Starting to really hate the "justice" system.

My question is, if the older woman suffered mental illness and assaulted someone, shouldn't she he placed in an institution? She is clearly a danger to both herself and society at large.

And honestly, in regards to being "emotionally immature", it reminds me of a lot of people who should have gone to jail and learned their actions have consequences. The fact they didn't and act the way they do just shows how sometimes a little "tough love" can help.

Not advocating undue sentencing, just that the original minimum on the books be enforced at the very least.

Victorian County Court has never encountered a violent or abusive woman it wouldn't treat as the victim.
