Having read the article I am sure it is broadly correct. So will anything be done? No. Because: It is not politically acceptable to specifically help men including black men. We all know the problems and have done for years but absolutely zero will be done. Western society will have to collapse before anything tangible happens.

This is why "historic inequality" as the primary factor contributing to present inequality is a complete red herring. Franchesca Ramsey of MTV's decoded, for example, likes to say "Whites are rich today because they were always rich," yet family wealth fluctuates insanely from generation to generation. Over 80 % of family fortunes are lost each generation. People move into and out of the 1 % all the time. No, the problem is always current discrimination. The idea that we need the government to give special advantages to some groups to create "equity", as opposed to equality, is just not based on anything but an ideology that would rather see the status quo continue while simultaneously virtue signaling about changing it.
