A sudden realisation: Why feminists rebuttal to the fact that men are victims of violence more than women is "well because it's other men who are violent to them."

I was thinking why this is such a ubiquitous reply to the statistic that men are by far the victims of the most violence. It suddenly dawned on me that it's because by feminist standards they have no solution because their solution is to exclude the "perpetrators" and "oppressors". Or in other words their usual exclusionary tactics.

It's easier to dismiss it as a problem that has no solution than engage that it is a huge problem.

In the same way that Erin Pizzey showed that men in domestic violence care are beneficial and sometimes necessary I think the MRM need to promote the unification of "gendered" problems.

This has the benefit that it could draw more political sway as it stays away from the /s evil "men only programs".
