So just to be clear, women are still delicate little damsels who need chaperones. But they don't want to have any obligations toward men. So instead they've turned the entire state into one gigantic chaperone. Amazing that this is happening in France of all places.

Uh yeah, so why would stalkers wait for the police officer if the crime is even more punitively damaging? Is she suggesting she should be able to take matter into her own hands or something? I mean making the law go farther is just gonna make the stalkers run faster no?

Okay what the hell is a "relationship of equality and not domination" and who the hell decides that?! Sure if you're just talking about it in general terms I kinda get what your saying. But this isn't a casual conversation this is a law that will be written on the books. It needs to be very specific. Otherwise you might as well make "being a meanie" illegal too while you're at it because it would be just as useful.

Furthermore, how do you know that a partner doesn't want to be dominated? There are plenty of people that are not only fine with that but want it!

And lastly, how the fuck is someone supposed to even start a relationship with someone if it's against the law to ask for someones phone number!?!?

It is just idiocy to try to make general rules about situations that can be radically different between any two people, dependent upon interior emotional reactions and responses.
