so don't flirt with women or initiate interaction.

got it

[+]yuk0njack1 points 8 years ago* [recovered] (5 children) | Copy Link

Except also don't wait for a woman to make the first move, because if you do that you're a beta creep.

😵🙃

[–]The__Tren__Train 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

this type of legislation is promoted and put in place by fat, undesirable women, and beta men.

this causes men to be even more afraid to approach desirable women.

this causes desirable women to be as lonely and miserable and the undesirable women.

[–]tehDemonseye 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Not really. They want men to make the first move, but only the hot ones.

Yes! The infamous secret loophole known to all Redditkind as Rule #1!

[–]tehDemonseye 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

"don't be ugly" ?

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Actually it's "Be attractive". Rule #2 is "Don't be unattractive."

Paternity tests are illegal in France.

Catcalling is illegal. Cuckolding your husband is not. Him trying to find out is.

They hate you. They hate us.

[+]1493271 points 8 years ago* [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

Trying to find out if your wife is cheating is illegal in France?

[–]jak_22 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If it involves a private paternity test, yes. Code pénal Article 226-28.

The fine is €15,000 and a possible one year in jail. So much for a free country.

Holy god this will explode in their faces. It's sad that it's France that has to be the one to stoop this low but if the French revolution taught us anything...

I am terrified that Kids are growing up and coming of early adult age in the middle of a massive gender war between men and women.

So just to be clear, women are still delicate little damsels who need chaperones. But they don't want to have any obligations toward men. So instead they've turned the entire state into one gigantic chaperone. Amazing that this is happening in France of all places.

[–]tehDemonseye 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

France is not (any more?) the country of the "Droits de l'Homme"...

I'm happy to be PACSed (not married) soon. No more dating !

[–]PrimarySupport 6 points7 points8 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If a man goes to Paris, he better not ask a woman out. The "city of love" is now the city of feminist ice and sterility.

So much for liberte fraternite egalite

[–]Ted8367 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So, in France, when it comes to women, keep yourself safe by not noticing them. But don't not notice them too much. There's a "read more" linked from that article, to Women shunned in some Muslim neighborhoods in France

https://www.rt.com/news/370265-women-shunned-in-france/

where you can read

in some neighborhoods in France women have become “undesirable in public places.”

(Presumably the men are safe from the fines in those public places).

Women were reportedly “Extremely shocked [by men’s reaction]!” .

So damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I guess it's a move in the weaponisation of femininity. They leverage lifetime prizes out of men because it's so awful having them around; but to do that, they need them around.

Critics of the measure also say it might not go far enough and may be purely symbolic. “Stalkers don’t wait for a police officer to harass a woman,”

Uh yeah, so why would stalkers wait for the police officer if the crime is even more punitively damaging? Is she suggesting she should be able to take matter into her own hands or something? I mean making the law go farther is just gonna make the stalkers run faster no?

French media, however, have questioned how “sexual contempt” would be separated from flirting. MEP Elise Fajgeles, another author of the report, has been accused of vagueness by answering: “Seduction should be done in a relationship of equality and not domination.”

Okay what the hell is a "relationship of equality and not domination" and who the hell decides that?! Sure if you're just talking about it in general terms I kinda get what your saying. But this isn't a casual conversation this is a law that will be written on the books. It needs to be very specific. Otherwise you might as well make "being a meanie" illegal too while you're at it because it would be just as useful.

Furthermore, how do you know that a partner doesn't want to be dominated? There are plenty of people that are not only fine with that but want it!

And lastly, how the fuck is someone supposed to even start a relationship with someone if it's against the law to ask for someones phone number!?!?

It really is the r/fempocalypse

[–]tehDemonseye 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Dating apps, duh. You know, those where men pay, and women don't.

Goddamn it, I hate my country.

[–]menshouldhaverights 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Except now, dating apps are making it so you can't message anyone! The reasoning is basically because women are complaining about getting too many messages... I would rather at least have the option of paying if my messages went through.

The feminism touch ruins everything.

[–]tehDemonseye 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Adopteunmec was even worse. You had to pay to get "likes", and send those likes to women. AND THEN after they accept, you get to send a pathetic "hey" or something.

Fee : 20€/mo

[–]PrimarySupport 9 points10 points11 points 8 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

Otherwise you might as well make "being a meanie" illegal too while you're at it because it would be just as useful.

We are literally witnessing an attempt to create harsh legal punishments based on women's subjective feelings.

I noticed something intriguing about the language of the "hate crime" law in the UK allegedly targeting "misogyny."

Typically when laws based on this sort of thing are written they include the word "reasonable." So eg what a reasonable person would consider. The word "reasonable" is absent in these new laws. They're entirely based on feelings. if a woman feels like she has been...

So in essence we're creating a society where every female is her only little Marie Antoinette, and can use the terrifying power of the state against any man she wishes.

Fempocalypse indeed.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This has authoritarian state written all over it.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Madness and stupidity. They're burning the fabric of society.

[–]TheNextMilo 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

As opposed to marrying them, which costs an awful lot more.

[–]Fortspucking 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It is just idiocy to try to make general rules about situations that can be radically different between any two people, dependent upon interior emotional reactions and responses.
