Female only resort...because “men mess with the relaxing vibe.” Remember when men’s clubs said the same thing, and had protestors?

Saw this on Hulu. Nothing new for their marketing team. They were running campaign ads during the election. I don’t like it, but private entities can do what they want.

I don't have an issue with that NYTimes Commerical.

If a woman accuses a man of sexual misconduct, I am going to take that accusation with a grain of salt. I will look at her story, his response, and come to my own conclusion about who is more credible.

But when I read about multiple accusations from a diverse array of women, all with similar sounding stories (i.e. Weinstein, Cosby), I tend to believe them.

I apply Occam's razor - is it more likely 59 women conspired to accuse Bill Cosby of sexual impropriety, or that he's a serial assaulter?

I’m not convinced there isn’t organization behind these accusations. It’s already known the Clinton campaign tried to bribe people to accuse trump. A blogger claimed he had inside info that Azari was going to be accused, days before it happened...

I'm not going to rule out the possibility of what you're suggesting, but again I look to Occam's razor. Is it more likely that there is an underground organization using sexual assault accusations to extort money and/or engage in paid character assassination? Or is it more likely that some famous people try to leverage their fame and power to get sex, and sometimes engage in predatory behavior?

Is it more likely that hundreds of people witnessed evidence of witchcraft in New England in the 16th century of that those accused were actually guilty. You need to sharpen your razor. People, and women particularly, are herd animals and will join the hue and join the crowd baying for blood with great passion.

In Weinstein's case, I have little sympathy for women who tried to sleep their way to stardom and then re-wrote the script to make themselves into victims afterwards.

Occam didn't have a book he needed publicity for... Though I generally agree - 59 is pattern.

I gave Al Franken the benefit of the doubt for quite a while, but the accusers kept coming forward with similar stories, and after 4 or 5 I decided to believe them.

Similarly, I am giving Aziz Ansari the benefit of the doubt. But, if 5 or 6 more women came forward with similar stories of fingers getting put into their mouths, and verbal cues being ignored, then I may change my position.
