There's a federal law that forces people onto the offender registry despite state laws.

I have seen many cases as a result of my legal related job.

For instance, 16 year old boy charged with assault of a child for inserting his finger into his 15 year old girlfriend. It happens a lot.

There are differences between men and women, but is there something about that difference that makes it less serious when a woman sleeps with a younger boy? Studies do show that most teenage boys who had sex with older women say that the sex was voluntary and the experience positive.

I just want this out there since there's a lot of "boys are getting raped by women" posts on this sub.

I haven't had it happen to me, but you might want to check around Michigan forums. My state is notorious for these kind of cases.
