One friend told police Thornton had said "this would be a 'great thing' for her political career following the Air Force," The Oklahoman has learned. The friend told police Thornton had said "female-empowered political organizations would love something like this."

Absolutely sickening.

To anyone not familiar with the story, Anderson is the Starting running back for the Oklahoma Sooners and is a growing star. He has been the best RB the last half of the football season and this woman accused him of rape after he drove her home from a bar.

Anderson had text messages from the girl after the alleged incident stating how much fun she had and wanting to start a relationship with Anderson. Her friends said she wanted to be with him again after the alleged incidents were said to have occurred. Anderson declined to start a relationship with the girl and then she cried rape and filed a VPO over two weeks after the fact. When news of the VPO came out it was national news and even ran at Times Square.

The DA announced a few days ago that there wouldn't be charges against Anderson citing the messages and her friends statements as evidence of no wrong doing as well as her statement that said she never told him no which had changed from her original statement.

Oh I bet. This isn't the first time we've heard of this mindset either. John the Other did a recent video on this very topic. Supposedly, it's quite common on campus.

The sad thing is, she's probably right.
