Hasn't this always been basically the practical endgame of feminism? To create a world in which we "crucify" men, but absolve women?

Oh, no, they realize exactly what they're doing. That's why they specifically define "power" such that a member of the in-group can never have it over a member of the outgroup.

When the subject of Weinstein and all the other accused came up at family dinner this past week at my wife's parent's house, I pointed out that who has power and what type was subject to interpretation, and that it was VERY clear that the accusers had power, and had it all along. The proof of it was that they could implode multiple careers overnight.

So, it wasn't that they had no power, it's that they convinced themselves they were powerless, or allowed themselves to be convinced. When someone asks to masturbate in front of you, in a hotel room, and you argue 15 years later that you were magically paralyzed or felt your career was in jeopardy if you didn't just stand there and watch, your skewed perceptions of the dynamic are at least half the problem.

"Power" in these pseudo-political situations is almost never defined at all, let alone defined coherently. I find it difficult to really engage with any arguments around this stuff for this reason - nobody seems to want to say what "power" actually is in this context and how it affects what's going on, except to say vaguely that men have it and women do not.

I mean, if we take "power" to equate to the ability to commit abusive acts with no likelihood of facing significant social censure, no judicial punishment and the "power dynamic" to imply that it is socially difficult to for the victim to refuse/resist then pretty much all women have "power" in the context of committing sexual abuse. I can only assume they must be using some other definition of power but I can never pin down exactly what it is.

The narrative of "power dynamics" related to abuse is how feminists are about to justify laws and legal systems that ignore male victims of domestic violence, such as the duluth model. It's also how feminists in India fought to keep sexual assault of men legal:
