Wow... men find they can't trust women enough for men to be completely open with women.

This is, of course, men's fault.

That's just ridiculous; no way that's impl...

In addition, they "often generalized personal experiences to women as a collective, under an 'us and them' binary which associated all women with any negative experiences the men had." Having bypassed the chance to have honest, meaningful conversations with women, many seem to view them through a stereotyped lens.

Fuck...

isn’t this exactly what feminists do to men?

"Something something, institutional power structures, something something societal pressure." - Feminist (probably)

Men are better friends then women are.

So true, ask any honest woman. He'll my wife refuses to have female friends.

Men, through 100,000 years of social evolution, have learned that its better to be close to the other men around you than not. Men cannot be openly aggressive or violent to other men because of the legitimate fear that someone will just kill you if you go too far.

Women have little fear of violent retaliation but also low ability to perform strong violence, as a result they have developed a propensity for 'catty' behaviour.

Because men don't judge other men for private moments of emotional weakness because they understand the challenge of needing to outwardly appear emotionless. For all the hand-wringing by women about men needing to "open up", they still expect men to be emotionally impregnable and judge the shit out of them whenever the facade slips.

As a woman I'm glad men can talk to other men. Obviously another man will have a better perspective on what the other guy is going through. Same with women talking to women. My SO and I talk very candidly but we both know we need our separate friends too.

Guys having good friends isn't a new thing. It's something that should be cherished.

I hope everyone gets to have at least one best friend in their life. To be silly with, bounce ideas with and unnecessarily analyze situations with, make up fun useless games with - I could go on and on. Best friends are one of the best stress relievers.

The problem manifests much more strongly when a man is married. Men, for whatever reason, just lose friends when they get married, they lose that support network of male friends to speak to.

Now the real question is why does this happen and theres multiple facets to consider. Is it that the mans partner demands so much of their time that they cannot afford to socialise? Is it that men find more happiness and fulfillment in dedicating so much time to their partners? Is it that the average male family life consists of sacrificing almost 100% of his time to wife, children, work and sleeping?

Of course, its all of those things and more but we cant approach this as a problem because its personal choices that men make with who to share and who to keep in the dark.

My best friend has cried to me about his wife. It was bonding and emotional. He knows he can trust me with all of his problems. Afterwards I viewed him as a very strong emotional person that has no limits of love for his family.

Some feminist complain about emotional labor, so men outsource that, now they complain about unemployment.

Good news for young men. Between this and the rise of the Sexbot, pretty soon men won't need women for anything.

Yeah. Makes sense.
