Some odd reasoning here:

the future looks increasingly grim for the group that once upon a time always seemed to end up on top: white males.

As far as the "white" goes, it's absolutely no surprise, because "once upon a time" there were only whites in the UK.

Admittedly it’s hard to have sympathy for those who didn’t display much compassion for others when they were on top. But we should be — we are — better than that.

At this point, complete logic fail. He's referring to poor working class boys. They were never "on top", because they weren't born. And the working class was never "on top".

On the basis of these statistics, there seems every chance that while the Sikh teenager will one day turn into a highly skilled doctor, the grime-music obsessed African sixth-former will become a pin-striped lawyer, and that mathematics-nut Chinese GCSE student will end up a tech entrepreneur, the best that your average working-class white boy can hope for is a part-time job in an Amazon warehouse.

Thing is these political charities that he is interlinked with, and his Fabian group, are behind the diversity training and special cultural diversity targets help etc given to teachers etc that have literally manufactured the issues he is raising. Add to that the notion that, quoting him "To be clear, we can’t comfort ourselves that white Americans have all turned into racists. Hundreds of white dominated counties voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012" Yet sections of our society is pushing that message, and too often, with media and educational support. Although I do agree with that statement, judging by the results following the invested interest by these groups I wonder if he, or nay of those fabians, could ever mean them.

New? I felt this way 15 years ago trying to get financial aid in college. I wished I was a minority or a female at the time. Life would've been easier.
