One of the problems with answering this question is greater male variability. This leads to men often being both better and worse than women. For example, there are more men with very high IQs and more men with very low IQs. Women's IQs are less extreme.

Men are better by some metrics

Women are better by other metrics

This just makes men and women different. Nothing more. Nothing less.

it really is "different strengths, different weaknesses" there is no better or worse.

most probley dont even care as to why (personally gynocentrism, evolution, and male disposablity are better explanations than patrarchy and marxism), just the issues at hand that need delt with.

I don't believe either men or women are 'better' than the other, but I do believe men have much tougher lives and face more discrimination, than are recognised.

That's my default position. It also gets me branded a misogynist because I fail to say "equal and only different in ways that women are better," which is a sentiment which usually gets applauded in case you haven't noticed.

Men are better than women. And women are better than men. Depends on the man, depends on the women. As groups, they are different on average. It would be unfair to say either is better or worse. Depending on what metrics you choose you can end up with either, but it seems entirely silly to compare the sexes that way, imo.

I think men are more competitive than women because they have to provide something to make themselves attractive while women are already attractive or at least they have a bigger specific weight in terms of attractivity. This is the reason why men are ahead of women.

I believe in equal opportunities and rights for men and women. Equal treatment under the law. Not just in the wording, but also in the punishment.

Men and women are different, on average. Science has proven this through years of work studying development.

That doesn't mean women can't do what men do, or vice versa, it just means that, on average, what one sex excels at, the other has to worker harder at to achieve the same goal.

If an individual woman is as capable at a specific task as her male peers, then, for her ability to perform that task, she should be considered no different from her peers.

My issue is with affirmative action and quotas. If we are giving women a leg up just because they are women, then that isn't fair. If they aren't as capable as their male peers, they should not get positions over them.

Put simply, I believe in meritocracy, and removing all gender bias from the professional world, whether it be positive or negative. No bias against or for men or women either in the government, or in the workplace.

That doesn't mean we should have more rights, or that we are better in some sort of mystical way, but we are definitely better at most things. Like it, lump it, but them's the cold hard facts.

First, because i know someone will cherry-pick this, i am the exception around here. Second, yes, men are better than women at just about everything. That doesn't mean we should have more rights, or that we are better in some sort of mystical way, but we are definitely better at most things. Like it, lump it, but them's the cold hard facts.
