Politicians know that controlling the language is key.

Take a look at the back catalog and slang of blues musicians in the 40s and 50s: you'll see songs like Muddy Waters "Manish Boy" and, later, "I'm A Man" in the 60s. These songs exist because of black adult men being sick and tired of being called "boy." It was a way to infantilize black men.

It's been done to women in the past too, but if you refer to an adult woman as a girl then you better be ready for a tirade.

They want to make fun of men for being friends with other men at will. They don't like it when men choose their own friends and form strong bonds with those other men, because that means they don't have control over it.

Take a minute to think about it: If you aren't married, how many men do you know who are married and stay in good contact? If you are married, how often do you spend time with your friends from before your marriage? Most likely in both scenarios, the answer is not a lot. That is by design.

Feminists hijacked it and turned it into a pejorative. I also noticed they prefer using the word "dude" rather than man. It's all so fucking juvenile.
