I always felt the custodial parent should lose custody if they moved beyond a certain distance I understand the argument of having a better opportunity and how more resources for the parent could (not necessarily does) translate to more resources for the child. Still, I don't see why a parent should be able to benefit while simultaneously making life worse for the other parent. If the opportunity were that good, then pay the child support and give the child to the other parent.
