South Africa - "In most countries, including ours, it is illegal to pay workers who do identical jobs differently. As an employer why would I pay men more for the same job and risk prosecution?"

Not only that. Even if it was legal, why would you pay more to men instead of hiring women, pay them less to do the same job and increase your profits?

The wage gap is one of the most stupid frauds feminists have engaged in.

Nah, they can just blame the 'failure for law of equal pay to work' as lies or deceit on part of management to claim that women aren't doing an equal amount of work, that men get preferentially promoted so they can get paid more in a 'good ol' boy's club' scenario, all the way up to claiming that the fundamental patriarchy of 'the system' is colluding with employers to pay women less despite laws saying otherwise (basically government looks the other way).

None of this is provable of course. But these are the hamster wheel reasons they use to justify their perennial claims. What you can also see from this 'blame ladder' is that they go from the most clear and capable example, a direct accusation of an employer, to a more nebulous example that is less and less provable, such as 'toxic masculinity/patriarchy'.

There's always a reason if you look hard enough, and the reason will require less and less evidence as well as you work your way down the ladder.

Data from United States, but still relevant to the argument in question. Apparently someone was left out of the loop.

South Africa has issues far larger than just Men's Rights and Equality of Genders.

South Africa has become a Hell Hole. President Zuma is only make it worse. Wage gap really does not matter when you have your president singing can praising the rape and murder of citizens.

South Africa is the Rape Capital of the world. Where 8% of the population suffers 23% of the murders(and brutal ones at that).
