Let me preface this by saying my friends and I have a demented sense of humor similar to Bill burr and Dave Chapelle and we bust each others chops all the time.

So last night I had a little get together with my close friends to watch the may-weather fight and play poker. It was 5 guys and 1 girl (my friends girlfriend) we'll call her A. A invites some people, albeit without asking me, and everything was cool, those people brought a friend who I didn't really know well but was welcoming etc. The extra people she invited all left except for well call her M. I met M once a year ago and never get saw her again till last night.

Anyways, we start playing poker and A wins a lot of money including multiple hands off my close friend K who is her boyfriend. I make a joke, " damn K looks like we know who the breadwinner is in this relationship." M out of nowhere flips her shit goes on a rant about how she's a woman and doesn't care that this is "a boys game." "I will not stand for this!" I wasn't even talking to her, I don't know her and she starts screaming at me. It caught me way off guard and was very confused. I guess me saying "breadwinner" pissed her off and she took it as an insult to all woman.

For about 5 minutes I was confused but deciphered that she was offended and it had something to do with feminism. It was unbelievable to me that something I said as a joke to someone else could elicit such a reaction from someone. It reminded me that people who are sooo sensitive about little things like this actually hurt their cause because clearly I wasn't being discriminatory or hateful towards anyone with anything I said. I basically told her I wasn't talking to her and don't know why she was going on a feminazi rant all of sudden and that she doesn't know me or my friends and that I can say whatever I want to my friends.

She then later told us she'd taken acid before and was drunk.

How would you all reacted in this situation?

TLDR: overly sensitive people suck especially feminists who can't decipher true discrimination vs. non.
