Why would victims be deterred if they aren't lying? Or is the premise that all victims have to lie to have a chance at successful prosecution? I know I can get in trouble for doing a lot of bad stuff, so I just don't do it. How hard is that concept? If you are truly the victim of a crime, don't fucking lie to the cops. Simple concept...
