Feminism has been an imperialist ally for decades. It's not unrelated. Hate movements always try to gain the power of the state, look at the Nazis or the KKK. Feminism is an authoritarian movement and has had a lot of success. This success only comes through authoritarian power -- the government.

Only if you are idiot enough to think attacking a minority's civil rights is a "Left" activity would this be any surprise.

Anthony advocated egalitarian feminism (as opposed to so-called 19th century “domestic” feminism, limited to power growth within the family), as did her comrade Elizabeth Cady Stanton. They fought for equal political rights

Egalitarian feminism? Stanton and Anthony opposed the vote for former slaves, and did so at just the time when the country was ready to give them the vote, after the civil war.
