While I am against child support in general as long as women have that right so should men. Good on him for wanting a better future for his child. Still baffles me that in the discussion thread people bitch about it yet no one would've said anything if it was the mother who did any of this.

It's fantastic that the law worked in a guy's favour for once.

Not sure about forcing unwanted (by either parent) babies into the world generally though. Abortions are not an easy choice either but I think both parents should be on board. That said she wasn't willing to have an abortion, only give the child up for adoption so I guess single parent custody is the best outcome.
