๐Ÿฎ the tide is changing. There will come a day when men will not be blamed for everything.

TIL there's a chain of bargain/closeout stores called "Christmas Tree Shops".

[โ€“][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

There's a niche market for everything! <3 Though seeing the size of that warehouse makes me wonder if it's such a niche market at all. I mean, I thought that people only shopped for christmas trees during the holidays.

Anyways, it's very nice seeing more and more people openly declaring themselves as being advocates of mens rights. I was also plesantly surprised that he hasn't suffered a broken rear window yet.

[โ€“]ihate_heckin_ketchup 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's not really Christmas stuff. It's like big lots, Michael's, and home goods all mashed together.

In Florida nonetheless

"None the less" seems like a strange phrase here. I usually say "no less" to mean "unbelievably". I would only say "none the less" to mean "comparatively" or "in spite of [the previous statement]". Is this usage common in your area?

As a woman, I fully support father's rights. I live in a state considered a 'Rights to the mother state' where in a divorce, the custody of the children is almost always given to the mother.

A very good friend of mine is dealing with just such a situation. His wife has physically attacked him in front of their 3yo son. She went to jail and he filed a restraining order. He has told me stories about how she tries to demonized him to their son regularly, and tries to keep him from seeing his son. He's a great guy, loves his son, and wants the best for him. Despite all this nonsense, the courts still ruled custody to the mother. This boils my blood. Both parents should have equal rights to custody, and any difference in the matter should be judged by character, parenting ability, and the ability to provide, not who has the vagina.

I have known of plenty of women who are shitty mothers, women who didn't give a shit about the kid and only wanted custody to fuck with the father, or to get a meal ticket, or whatever else selfish, wicked reasons.

Fathers are equal capable parents. It's not 'daddy day care' it's just parenting.

As a female, I've always wondered why it's always the most awesome guys who get tangled up with the the destructive nutjob women.

It's my long considered opinion that those types of cun... women should be the ones getting the shit beat out of them by abusive guys.

Abusive women and men should all pair up and go kill each other somewhere. Somewhere away from the rest of us.

(And, I'm really not advocating violence in general. This shit happens anyway, I'm just suggesting better pairing up of the opposite sex abusers. They all do deserve each other.)

[โ€“]DonkeyWindBreaker 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Indeed. Shitty women are shitty because, imho, they feel entitled to the better things in life instead of realizing they have to earn them, just like everyone else, regardless of gender.

Yep. I'm struggling like hell as we speak to keep a spoiled 19 year old (I didn't meet her until she was 12 and, even then, Dad was operating out of guilt and exhaustion more than anything else) from becoming one of those.

I refuse to sit by and allow her to become the kind of woman I hate.

(My new nickname, conceived {by me :D} in the latest drama, is ET. That stands for Extra Testicle for when Dad starts to buckle under precedent.)

What state if you don't mind? What states are worse or better? Thank you for sharing your story and I agree.

[โ€“]canhazhotness 4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Its Kansas.

[โ€“]DiamondMinah 11 points12 points13 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

man that is some darn good numberplate removal software

[โ€“]completel 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm not sure about that. If you have the algorithm, it can be reversed.

[โ€“][deleted] 35 points36 points37 points 9 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

I'm honestly surprised his car wasn't vandalized by some "strong woman".

[โ€“]shatter321 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It would probably be a "male ally" trying to get sex or something

[โ€“]shaq604 4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

They're not all aggressive angry man-haters, those are just the few that subs like this like to focus on

[โ€“][deleted] 11 points12 points13 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Too many are though.

[โ€“][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Yes, they are.

[โ€“]zfighter18 12 points13 points14 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The ones that need to announce that they are a "strong woman" tend to be shit people much like the guys that need to announce that they are "alpha."

[โ€“]wonkifier 4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No they're not.

Some of our lives may have been nearly completely destroyed by some who were. And they may be supported by other women who don't recognize the pure evil of those they're lending their support to for various reasons.

But however much that makes it feed like it's true, that doesn't make it actually true.

[โ€“]FeierInMeinHose 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I guess it depends on who you mean by "they"; I'll bet you and the other other dude are using it to describe two different groups.

[โ€“]DocNob 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That might be the best censoring of a license plate I've ever seen.

[โ€“]Proteus_Marius 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's a nice message and all, but that mall is cliche of civilization gone wrong.

[โ€“]Kuramo 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And it's on a Dodge Journey's rear windscreen. I have get one too, but in red.

[โ€“]Drezzzire 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Surprised the glass wasn't broken from some triggered pos.

[โ€“]UDT22 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Wow. First ever. The feminazis will most likely break his window

[โ€“]Mekisteus -2 points-1 points0 points 9 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

That's "father" singular, not plural. Indicating the driver only supports the rights of his or her own father. Doesn't really seem like an MRA message if that's the case.

[+]DinoInNameOnly points 9 years ago [recovered] (5 children) | Copy Link

Ever heard of a typo?

[โ€“]Mekisteus -1 points0 points1 point 9 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

A handwritten one? No.

[โ€“][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Those used to be a lot more common when people wrote things down a lot more. Was a major cause of language change and literature drift, where the typos would become established dialects, and the meaning of texts would get changed as mistakes were made during copying by scribes, and then themselves copied.

[โ€“]Mekisteus 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

No such thing as a handwritten typo. Typographical errors are typed or printed.

[โ€“][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The only difference is the tool being used to create the text.

Print: To write very clearly, especially, to write without connecting the letters as in cursive.

[โ€“]Mekisteus 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No, printing as in a printing press.

Just because two things are similar doesn't mean the definition of one of the words can't be exclusive. Typos are not handwritten by definition. Google "definition of typo" if you don't believe me. If you still have a problem after that, take it up with Merriam-Webster.
