My initial thoughts on this were mixed. On the one hand, the policy was distinctly unfair. Especially given all the nonsense made by feminists with regard to "oppressive air conditioners being used to keep women uncomfortable given their preferences for warmer temperatures than men" or whatever it was a couple years back.

On the other hand... if the school had been following decades or centuries of tradition with their uniform, changing it because a bunch of snot-nosed little middle school shits took themselves too seriously and demanded that it be revised would be absurd.

However... the school hasn't been around for decades or centuries, and only became self-governing in 2013, so the "tradition" point falls flat on its face.
