Get a lawyer, 1. Preferably, one used to dealing with title 9 claims. Even if they can't be there, you want to talk to a professional. As others mentioned, contact groups like FIRE. You want this to be public and you want it slanted to your side. Be sure to make it clear you shouldn't have been with the girls and apologize (it will help prevent people from dehumanizing you). You want to try and be as genuine as possible. Also, make sure you have the audio handy, keep it in full also go through and find the parts supporting your case so you can play them as needed. You may want to write down what was said as well, so you can recall it if asked.

With that out of the way, you have a 9/11 call and a visit from an Officer which are not evidence barred in your state. If she claims you raped her the previous evening, then you can point out that she and another girl were at your house for several hours after that, that they called 9/11 while pinning you to the ground and made no mention of a sexual assault to the 9/11 operator or the officer that attended at your apartment.

You don't even know whether a severe accusation has been made against you, but in the case that one has been made, you're not quite as fucked as you seem to believe. Sexual Assault is "he said she said", and while it is often an uphill battle for guys to defend against these claims in college tribunals, you have some pretty powerful evidence that her story does not check out.

I just found out that Illinois is a two-party consent state for conversations.. So I guess i'm fucked. Idk what to do.

Beg, borrow, or steal the money to get lawyered up. I wish you luck, but without a lawyer, you are in deep without a shovel. I hope that it is from those two and that the recording is admissible. If they conspired to get you falsely accused, they are in deep too.

My advice is to go to war. Be proactive. To determine exactly how you go to war, you need consult a lawyer. Surely you can put a couple hundred dollars together to get a consultation. Any idea you get from this forum you should run past the lawyer before doing it.

In the court of public opinion, you should do everything you can to make both your accuser and the Title IX coordinator realize that they've bitten off more than they can chew. And a lawyer can advise you exactly how far you can push that without getting into legal trouble.

If your lawyer approves, you should report her to the police. There's breaking and entering, and assault. It's only too bad that you didn't try to call the police at the time. Had she stopped you from doing so, she would have gone straight into the system. The good news is that there's a 911 call that may prove she assaulted you. You know better than I do what took place, but "We're trying to stop him from leaving" sure sounds like an assault to me.

Never say this again, and certainly not to anyone associated with the case. The college has to believe you have a phalanx of high-priced lawyers ready to sue them for $20 million after the dust settles.

Do not initiate contact with your accuser in any way. If she calls you, let it go to voicemail, and save the recording.

My school says I can't bring a lawyer to the investigation, under Title 9 and my schools policy I am allowed a trained advisor provided by the school itself to be there and advise me during the investigation, but they cannot speak on my behalf.. ?!

The school is not your friend! Call a lawyer anyway. Even if they don't let him/her into the building, that bolsters your case that they were acting unfairly.

Contacting that lawyer is priority #1 right now.. Google search for as many criminal law attorneys in your area, look through the areas they practice and call as many as you can to give a very brief description of what's going on.. do your research on this stuff because those girls will be given every benefit of the doubt..

Be careful what you do, and say to anyone.. and definitely do not start hooking up with any new girls right now.. you never know what they're capable of, or who they might send your way to bring the full wrath of the education system and legal system down on you because they feel stupid..

When a woman feels decieved in any way, they'll want to punish someone for it.. theyll say they feel so violated that not telling them about another recent partner is a form of violent sexual assault, and the laws have been moving in their favor for some time.. rules within academia are so much worse so it's time to walk on eggshells, and be a choir boy..

If at any time you feel like the school isn't being fair, keep your cool.. to my knowledge, the school isn't likely gonna be able to have you arrested, but I'm not sure how that all works.. however, showing that you're calm and collected to the best of your ability is a good thing.. I'd be more worried about what could happen outside the school..

Keep it in your pants for a while, contact a lawyer, don't talk to anyone else about any of this, and I saw a comment about contacting advocacy groups.. that could definitely be a good idea, and something you can research yourself and send a few emails..

Good luck, If everything you said is true.. you did absolutely nothing illegal, the type of things girls used to just shrug off, and move on.. but in this day and age they'll wanna make it into some horrifying offense..
