As far as I'm concerned, if someone hits my dog they forfeit any and all social privileges. Doesn't matter if they're a man twice my size or a woman half my size, they're equally a piece of shit and I will most likely do what I can to ensure they leave the scene in an ambulance.

Seems like the system worked ok here. Mentally ill woman attacks man and woman at random and then he was not falsely charged. Didn't say anything about her being prosecuted would should be the reasonable conclusion to the situation.
