What he has failed to consider is that of all the shit I hear and see on a daily basis stuff like that seems like fighting words to me. You want to rant about how evil men are? Fine, you want to talk about how I'm satan because I was born with white skin and happen to have a penis? Or in this guy's case, pretty much without saying it talk about how useless men are growing up to be? You know what, no matter how much it bothers me I normally will just call you a racist and sexist cunt and move on.

However, actually actively trying to interfere with children's lives and pretty much emotionally abusing them in school because you can?

This is typical blame shifting, and a very popular response when feminists are asked why boys aren't performing well at school.

They always say "It's the boys!", or "It's the dads!", never "we're not doing a good job educating boys".

Hmm...I read it more as feminist-views-of-fatherhood bashing. It seems to be saying our sons need a healthy dose of toxic masculinity.

It's interesting that in an article that emphasizes the importance of a strong father figure in boy's lives they don't touch the sacred cow of single mothers and lopsided custody arrangements.

Poor educational performance by boys was created in the nineties when curriculum and methods of delivery were altered to better suit girls' learning needs. Boys needs were ignored in these changes. The current poor outcomes were predicable and were predicted by many including myself.

Interesting, if low on facts - would need to read this guy's book to get full exposure to his argument.

I'm actually going to agree about the discipline part, though how that's taught or enforced is another matter. The same goes for girls.
