Your perspective might be a bit biased there. It just gives abundance mentality.
While abundance based on non committal relationships is completely beneficial for men, although it makes it harder for women to get commitment from him, it goes both ways for women. They're wired and bound to ultimately seek stability, "nesting", in which case women with strong abundance based on non-committal relationships might feel like "settling down" with someone worst than they had before. It'll be frustrating for her to spend her life with the fourty third best guy she ever hooked with.

The hook up culture, in itself, isn't that feminized. About it all you can do is be as honest with yourself in pursuing your hard wired polygamic urges as women are in pursuing their hypergamy. This culture is bound to serve you better than it serves them, actually.
