He was criticized, not punished. And it was for the right reason, for telling half of a whole elementary school that women should be quiet and soft spoken. For encouraging boys while putting down girls, even if that wasn't his intent.

We should be encouraging both boys and girls to be strong.

He should be criticized. I'm not entirely sure what this has to do with MR considering no one has the right to have half of the world be docile and worthless so the other half can feel stronger.

Meh, i don't agree with him, but this guy sounds like a dumbass from the hood so i think we should be lenient. Meanwhile, well-educated, middle class white women say far worse things about boys and nobodies gives a crap.

Why the double-standard?

This response was never given when Hillary -- candidate for US President -- sought only to encourage girls. And she wasn't doing it just to get one kid's attention -- she really believes it.

Beyonce? Only praise.
