No, it was rampant misandry (by her and by others), and ladies-first sexism (by her and by others).

Also, feeling like you personally are above equal treatment under the law is generally not a good way to get elected.

A Facebook friend shared a post today from NPR full of carefully picked statistics trying to discredit Donald Trump's recent statement that he'd inherited "a mess".

They chose to compare data points on the day Obama took office with the day Trump took office. Of course, since we were in the middle of an economic collapse when Obama took office, most of those points showed improvement - with a few slightly lower to try to maintain the illusion of impartiality.

But buried in the middle of all that data was the secret that Democrats refuse to face: When Obama took office, 36% of the country identified as Dem and 30% as GOP. When Trump took office, those numbers were 25% Dem and 28% GOP.

NPR tried to pass it off as evidence that people are abandoning both parties, but a 2% drop is hardly comparable to an 11% drop. This represents slightly more than 30% of the Democratic Party leaving.

This isn't caused by gerrymandering, voter suppression, the "constant GOP lies", misogyny, racism and bigotry. When 30% of the people YOU ALREADY HAD walk out, it's a clear indication of internal problems. Chief among those problems is the embrace of identity politics and cultural Marxism.

Until Democrats can move beyond the fear mongering and rhetoric to take an honest look at themselves, they will remain a minority party.

So people decided to, instead, vote for a far worse candidate...who one month into his presidency is a failing, miserable, embarrassment to the country and is under multiple investigations for corruption and possibly treason by the FBI and US intelligence.

What doomed her was the undeniable fact that she is a war-mongering, neo-liberal, neo-conservative piece of scum. Duh.
