The thing is, if a woman wants to date a man who is taller I can't fault them for that. That's their preference. But the guy made a great point and I don't care if it's shallow or not. Men want thin women. Not fat. Women want taller men, not short. Call it shallow. Call it what you want. It's a preference they have to mate with someone. As long as women don't get their little cunts hurt when asked "how much do you weigh?" there shouldn't be any issues with either side. FWIW I'm 5'7 so I would consider myself short.

I'm 6'3 but my best friend is pretty short and people would always mock him for it and I had never understood whats the big deal in being tall or short. People just love to be shallow I guess

Comparing fat women to short men makes no sense. One is mostly genetic, the other is mostly lifestyle.

A better analogy would be short men and ugly women. You can't control either.

It's pretty simple really. Both genders are looking for the most successful able bodied mates. For women they look for tall and muscular men. Because that indicates an increased ability to provide and care for them. Men are looking for nice boobs, butts, ect. Because that indicates better child baring abilities. There is nothing wrong with either gender trying to get the most successful mate possible. You can call it "shallow" but it's reality.

I'm a fairly tall girl, and yes, I prefer dating men taller than me. It's a preference. What would make me an arsehole is writing or saying something to that extent in a Tinder profile or straight up asking a guy his height like it defines him. Same goes for men and weight (or any other preferences really). We can all have our preferences in a partner, nothing wrong with that, just don't be an arse to the person about it. You're either attracted to them or not, no need to say "it's because you're to short/fat/blonde" etc.). Just be nice. You don't have to date people you're not attracted to either way.

And here I am at 6′4 struggling to get girls, I dress well, I workout, I am not fat, I think I am decent looking, I try to follow fashion but not come out as a tryhard, meanwhile talking to 8+'s my social skills are shit, my confidence is shit and all I get is shit.
