"Sextortion" is a form of blackmail where criminals use fake identities to befriend victims online before persuading them to perform sexual acts in front of their webcam.

DON'T DO SEXUAL SHIT ON CAMERA UNLESS YOU ARE A PORN ACTOR.

Happened to a friend of Mine.

They wanted $1500.

He said and No. He made a Facebook post asking people if they get a video emailed to them to delete it.

It was never sent.

It was suspected it was some one acting on behalf of his ex.

I don't see the men's right issue in this. According to the article, the police handles these cases competently.

Overall, it's just a scam with sex as a bait. We need to extend the definition of safe sex as taught to boys: sex on TV is not safe, we keep falling off the damn thing.
