I think what happened is that Clinton decided to run a total negative campaign. She (per wikileaks) picked out some buffoon from the Republican primary and told her media contacts to boost him. She figured that would make for an easier campaign once she had the DNC rig the Democratic primary against Sanders. Then her plan was to avoid all policy talk and force the progressives to support her despite everyone hating her by demonizing the buffoon. So there's a string of increasingly insane and whack job stories defaming Trump throughout the campaign.

Now the election is over however the democrats can't seem to let it go, and they are still boosting these insane stories about Trump, kinda reminiscent of the way the "vast right wing conspiracy" used to love conspiracy theories about the Clintons.

So for example pretty much everyone close to Trump is apparently now in the KKK despite him marrying two foreign wives. Trump is some sort of communist sleeper agent but also he's going to start a nuclear war with Russia. He's a poon hound but he also is a pedophile who is only into little children. Etc etc.

It's so deranged that Rachel Maddow advocated that the CIA break with civilian authority and attack the next president.

Let's hope they get this out of their system in a few months, but for now I just think it's hilarious, especially given how smug they all were in predicting that Trump followers would be acting hysterical "when" he lost.

As for Breitbart why not go an look at the web site yourself? I mean if that interests you.

i was looking to find the basis for this earlier and pretty much all I found was hit piece opinions (many quoting Harry Reid; the man who admitted lying about Mitt Romneys taxes in the last election AFTER the election was over and it no longer mattered... like he is somehow a credible source for anything...) and accusations that he is anti-semetic but I so far haven't found anything that specifically cites any actual evidence to back up these claims.

It's really about a conflation of different people's definitions of the alt-right. Certainly SJWs, establishment leftists and Clinton supporters have taken the most extreme wing of the alt-right, which does contain neo-Nazis, white nationalists and white supremacists, and applied that definition to the entire group. The reality is that "alt-right" has become a catch-all term for conservatives and rightist libertarians who have become dissatisfied with establishment conservatives and especially with more authoritarian socially conservative elements. Milo even expands the definition to include disaffected leftists like me, who are generally left-leaning but have basically been driven right as a result of the takeover of the left by the social justice cult.

I certainly wouldn't call myself alt-right, because whatever it means now, the term was originally coined by Stormfront-style white supremacists to describe their own political movement, but that doesn't mean that's how Bannon interprets it.

I have been able to find nothing racist nor sexist nor anti-Semitic excepting an ex-wife's self-serving accusations. In contrast, Sharpton has instigated murderous racist riots, yet Obama had him to the White House often.

Brietbart is a right wing site and people are mad someone who was an extreme right wing writer like Brannon is now in the White House. Plus he was accused of anti semitism.
