His remark was a little bit tongue in cheek but you'd think any healthy adult let alone a politician could take such a remark with little to no effect. Crying isn't the issue, it's why you started crying. Then it's about your response after, where she simply tosses blame around.

The general population needs leaders, not children mascaraing as adults in business suits.
