Limit alimony to maximum of 3 years (probably a state issue, but whatevs)
Provide men with reproductive rights equal to those that are granted to women.
Eliminate any laws that require people to be paid equally for unequal work
Eliminate all laws that provide special rights to specific groups of people based upon their demographics
Provide equal custody to both parents in divorce or unmarried parenthood, which would eliminate an need for child support.

If I were running for president, I would steer clear of this issue, because bringing it up would be a good way to lose votes.

Johnson is on record supporting men in divorce and custody.

If I was running:

A complete ban on child genital cutting regardless of sex.
Desegregation of all forced single-sex spaces (e.g. teams, sports, bathrooms, etc.) to be replaced by criminalization of forced segregation
Legislation that would, by law, define any sex-specific term (he, she, male, female, man, woman, etc) in law without regard to sex.
Decriminalizing many crimes which amount to "being male" as shown by the prison population.
Enhancing policing, prosecution, and sentencing of criminal women.
Adding women to draft registration.

I would also have a significant plans on free speech, placing religion on the same level playing field as atheism, protecting all sexual minorities regardless of who made it onto the alphabet list so far, planning for the rapidly-approaching end of work and capitalism, ensuring that the borders actually mean something, demanding that all infrastructure be designed and built to last longer than a human lifetime, and more.

I would make sure The Duluth Model, as a tool, would be scrapped for good in every single state. No more considering men as the primary abuser and therefore should be the one taken into police custody in every domestic violence case.

Also, put some actual funding towards men's shelters. Change the name of VAWA to VAPA (Violence Against People Act) and alter the law so that it would be illegal to prevent funds from funneling into the hands of male advocates looking to build a shelter. If advocates for women's shelters complain about taking attention away from female victims I'll say "Would you like me to take away your funding? No? Then shut up and let me produce real equality." Yeah, it's blunt and abrasive but you know what, these whiners need to be put in their place. Somebody's got to do it.

Honestly, there is nothing you can politically suggest that will not be seen as a "war on women." Even helping men is considered a war on women, because you are draining resources from the wimminz and "ignoring" the wimminz. And to the feminists, it is a zero sum game.

There will never be a "platform on men's issues" in any presidential election.

I wouldn't have a platform on men's issues. I'd have a platform on family issues, employment issues, and other issues such as education, economic trade etc. No part of any campaign I run would take such broad societal issues such as parental right and abortion and narrow it down to specific genders competing.
