There are plenty of cases of people doing this without going through the proper channels and getting fucked over child support. If they want a sperm donor, they can go get a sperm donor.

Bad fucking idea. You'd be the biological father. I don't think you could ignore that child, deep within your soul - I know I couldn't. Plus you're vulnerable to future legal action.
