This is justice and all and that's cool, but does this belong in this sub? She's not using her gender as an excuse. Now, I'm not defending her, what she did was not cool at all, and she's getting her comeuppance. But I don't really think it belongs on this sub. Since this is topping the headlines this morning given everything important that's happening, I think people are misconstruing this whole thing. So I think i'll weigh in.

I heard the audio of their phone conversation. She did in fact give him permission to use the lyric about how "he might still have sex with her" or whatever, HOWEVER he failed to mention the line "I made that bitch famous".

From what I understand she is pissed that he used that line calling her a bitch and didn't clear it with her on the same phone call. Listening to the call it's clear he never mentions that line.

On top of that she is pissed that he secretly recorded their conversation without divulging it to her beforehand. Something that is, depending on your state, questionable and or potentially illegal. This is why most businesses inform you that they record your conversations when you call them.

I don't really care about Taylor Swift or Kanye but If I had to pick a side in this debate I would side with Taylor. Kayne may try to spin it but in the end he called her a bitch in his song (without informing her he was planning to) and she took offense. I can understand that.

I'm sure this comment will be downvoted because this is a misogynistic sub but go and listen to the audio for yourself and read her response to it.

Just another case of Reddit jumping into the circlejerk before getting the facts right. The part Taylor complained about was not the one Kanye was telling her about in the video of the phone call. She complained that he called her "that bitch" and that he never played the song for her so she could give it proper approval. She also didn't deny that he talked to her, it's even in her PR's statements that they only talked once, and that he never played the song.
