You're conflating two different things.

During sex. Not during sex.

During sex I am aggressive, commanding, passionate, naked, sweaty, have a condom on.
Not during sex I am stoic, considered, pensive, thoughtful, playful, have clothes on, not wearing a condom.

What OP is saying is that sex is better when you have and EMOTIONAL connection with someone. And I agree. But here's why I am trying to stop having emotions. It's because these hoes ain't loyal no matter what. And they will bury you after you've caught feelings and they move on. This is why men kill people and kill themselves. Cause they get emotional over a women and can't get over it.

You're making a mistake here dude. Emotions are immune to reason to a very large extent. At best you will simply grow your own cognitive dissonance where you feel something but at the same time tell your mind that it's not good to do so with all the inevitable consequences of such thought processes.

In my mind, sex with someone who doesn't trigger you mentally, phyiscally and emotionally is always going to be worse than with someone who does. In an ideal relationship, both of you are affected in a similar manner.

You're asking the question as if you could just switch your emotional response to a girl on and off, regardless of which girl it actually is. You probably know that it's nigh impossible to switch it on with someone where it doesn't come naturally. Well, it's almost as impossible to do the reverse with someone where it does come naturaly. The real question is; are you and her real and open enough to be comfortable with eachothers vulnerability to allow those feelings?

If not, well, then you either need to draw your conclusions and try to temper them while your contact lasts, or simply start looking for someone that does share that same spark. There's an off chance you actually can get there by being open and honest about all this with your girl, but on most occasions, these things can be felt to a very large extent without having to name them. The lack of it as well, if you know what it's like when it does click.

The thing with plate spinning is that all these deeper feelings don't really matter as much. If you can bear her presence long enough to fuck her and maybe share a meal, that's basically all you need. You'll notice you can do that with plenty more women than if you're aiming at sharing deeper vulnerabilities.

To each his own, but it's not as black and white as you make it out to be. Especially not in an LTR. The key is trust and comfort in each other.

I believe that's a lie. You will never be the best at sex. Or the most attractive. Or the most in shape. There's always someone better. And women have the best sex with guys they are most in love with I.E. attraction. Not on an orgasm or physical level but mental. And my main point was their emotions change. So you can have that amazing connection with someone and have the great close sex but at some point she will leave you. That's the cold hard truth. It's hard for me to break the attachment so I'd rather not have one.

Nothing wrong with full of emotions passionate sex. But beware, women will use those emotions to take advantage of you, also if they feel like they got you... like they figured you out and they have secured you, they will lose interest in you. It's ok to show emotion once in a while without being TOO emotional, so only say you love her when you really mean it, never cry in front of her, unless someone passed away, or your favorite sports team lost the season lol.
