So I'm going through the Bravo show 'Mr. Robot' staring Sam Esmail, and I'm noticing a very interesting reaction. I can't seem to help but notice certain lines of dialogue and plot points that would be the sort of things I imagine an MRA writer who can't be open about it in public would insert into the story. I don't give to give too much away now because I want to see if others notice them on their on, but it's several things sprinkled around. One plot point was a childhood where the WOMAN was the abusive wife/mother. Another is how they characterize white male characters of the show, and women you might consider "feminists." Lots of little jokes or lines that make me smile, clearly written by someone who "gets it", that only an MRA would get.

It's hard to explain, and I'm only halfway through the season, but if anyone happens to be watching or watched that show, I'd be curious to hear your reactions.
