I would say so. As a gay guy who gets on very easily with a lot of women (I'm definitely not effeminate but also definitely not traditionally masculine), I think there's this notion that effeminate guys pose less of a threat in terms of trying to get in their pants...as such they let their guard down on that front and treat us like people as opposed to predators.

People are likely to be scared of a big brawny hairy bear of a man with a chiseled jaw being close to kids, compared to a skinny short pretty boy.

I doubt that is true personally. I think hysteria over male 'child endangerment' is probably fairly widely-focussed and not just aimed at that 'type'. For one instance, Will Self is not particularly macho.

The question in the title could be an interesting discussion. But from your post text and your posting history, you're coming at it from an unusual angle.

The paranoia about men dealing with children is impossible for any man to ignore. The "bear" vs "pretty boy" distinction that you're talking about - never heard of it.

And two posts in two days asking the Islam forums whether self-castration is ~~kosher~~halal ... if you're not a troll, it's worrying.

Women Don't like feminine men but main about toxic masculinity. Thus corresponds with the fact that women in the pill prefer rugged men and once married and off the pill hormones change and preference for a gentle, softer men more likely to stay at home nights with her and the kids.

It's time to stop bothering with what women think of men and just use them for breeding. Once you have women feel what it's like to really be used by men, they will soon enough pipe down and start acting like normal people again.
