I thought it was quite an interesting remark at the end, "That being said, seduction laws are an interesting case study. They demonstrate how a generally patriarchal, male-dominated society still provided some tools designed to empower women and level the playing field between the sexes." Level the playing field huh? I can ruin your life, and you can ruin mine then eh?

Justice does seek parity.

They still have the major problem of gynocentrism. They suffer from the problem that when they look back into history their perspective is tainted by the idea that men were always in a position of power, so they interpret history through that lens.

Analysis opens repeating lie that women were historically oppressed, but interesting stuff otherwise.

If you've read any of Pinker's book called The better angels of our Nature, you wouldn't think it was a lie.

This is a 2011 printed text which highly informing all college age students' views as it is required reading for english classes.

Loved the book but thought he glossed over the much more significant harm that happened to men.

I doubt he would say he was focused on proving that women had it worse than men in that book.

TIL.

Interesting to see that our social institution of coddling and paying for women has roots of being enforced under penalty of imprisonment.

women have always used sex to control men. Now the whole weight of the government machine is being used to put men who use sex for anything in jail.
