While some photos may be self-posted, the sites mainly uses photos "fraped", or taken without permission from people's unsecure Facebook pages.

Facebook is a social media site and is meant for sharing content. If the poster does not limit the sharing of their content, which is a feature in Facebook, then it is assumed that the poster wanted the content to be able to be viewed by everyone.

Anyone who uses social media should be taught that if you do not want content made public, do not post it on social media, ever.

Comments on the Hotties of Melbourne University page included, "This girl is a 0/10. I would not bang her even if they paid me". "100 % would bang" and "Shoot me with tranquilliser right now before I go out to hunt!"

If universities are going to discipline students for having and voicing preferences, will the same apply to women?

For example, if a woman posts: "He is so short. He looks like a troll. I will never go out with him," should she be disciplined?

Will expressing preferences for certain physical features when it comes to dating be considered grounds for discipline?

We're really struggling with our anti-unicorn abuse laws, because although they were very badly needed, many cases collapse simply because the perpetrator claims he can't be guilty simply because unicorns don't exist. We believe the right answer is recognise and believe the existence of unicorns and believe women when they say their unicorn has been raped by a shitlord.
