I prefer not to discuss my personal problems caused by controlling parents. I can start with becoming an MRA in '95 or '96. After I read "The Myth of Male Power" by Warren Farrel I did not believe such discrimination against men existed, but as I checked every fact via independent sources and found that everything is the truth. I began to see how much hatred against men and discrimination against men there is in our society.
My knowledge greatly increased my depression. My posts on the Internet brought much abuse from feminists.
I tried to quit my interest. Just like Paul Elam is trying to quit.
But around 2013 I came back to my interest in gender issues.
Does learning what you have learned about men's rights put an extra burden on you?
PS. Every time I make a resolution never again to read about sad reality -- another discriminatory law, another Main Stream Media article like Men are Pigs. Like an alcoholic makes a resolution never to drink C2H5OH.
