Katerina Bardos, a former fourth-grade teacher at Frontier Academy, pleaded guilty to attempted sex assault on a child and child abuse negligently causing death, both felonies, in a deal earlier this month.

She was originally facing 8-32 years, now she's facing 4-20, so hopefully she'll at least get some prison time and will still have to register as a sex offender.

Though as the article points out a plea deal for "child abuse negligently causing death" is very strange since no one actually died.

hold on, I'm confused...grade 6 is 11 years old. ......11...! so 4 years for raping an 11 yr old multiple times? is that what the article is stating?
