Oh look, a MSM publication completely ignoring the actual 'subject' of their own article to push an agenda. How quaint.

Notice how University isnt even hinted at being hostile to white males? Or the vast imbalance in financial aid, most of which specifically excludes white males as canddates? Not a peep. How about the feminization of all levels of education, that in there? Nope.

What is in there, are calls for more government funding using white boys as the sympathy figure (for once). But you can be sure any additional monies will be divided 'equitably' once again.

This isnt positive except the notable sympathetic (sort of) stance taken with the boys. Other than that, its pure corruption of concern for men and boys, to advocate for even more social spending.

What puts off white, working-class men off University?

Affirmative Action ensuring unfair treatment of white men compared to women and racial minorities

Imbalance in scholarships and student aid (My local University has 5 woman-only scholarships for every gender-neutral scholarship, and no male-exclusive scholarships)

Gender studies departments constantly spouting how evil and violent men are, and how one could rape you at any time (Replace "men" with "Negroes" and one would think we were talking about the South in the Reconstruction era)

Kangaroo courts where better due process was implemented by the Inquisition

Mandatory gender-shaming seminars that tell men they have to be 'taught to not rape' as if they were a bunch of hypersexual animals unable to control their own urges

The list goes on...

So tell me, Mrs. Weale...why ARE working-class, white men put off from attending University. It's not much of a mystery...

Every single article like this needs to begin with, "While more women are going to college, it's important to mention that most women only major in useless liberal arts trash majors there aren't even jobs for and is nothing but an expensive summer camp for them and a complete waste of time, because even the scant few women who do actually obtain degrees in law, medicine and STEM (the only degrees worth going to college for) will work for a few years in the profession and then suddenly quit.. forever.

So we need to begin focusing ALL of our attention, time and resources on boys because girls are going nowhere and girls' time spent in college is nothing but a JOKE."

I feel sorry for the kid mentioned there, he has absolutely no idea how fucked up Universities have become. If I were them I would look at private tuition or apprenticeships which in the long run will actually be cheaper than University degrees.

Plus, it will be easier on the parents, because they don't have the added worry about food or housing etc. and budgeting in regards to him staying at the university.

Why is it that the only acceptable path for a man after high school or the equivalent is University? There is no shame in manual labor and skilled trades and we as a society need to stop acting like higher education followed by working in an office and slowly moving up a corporate ladder is the only "correct" solution.
