Matched on Tinder with the ex of a good friend

So I've been getting better matches on Tinder lately. Most fo the girls I've been matching up with happen to be 7-9's which is great. However, yesterday I matched up with this girl who use to go out with one of my closest friends 9 years ago. I remember meeting her only once when they were going out, but at first I couldn't make the connection.

We exchanged numbers and i'm suppose to meet up with her this Saturday for drinks in the city. After I got her number her named popped up on my WhatsApp. Normally if someone has a WhatsApp account they most likely have a Facebook account attached to it. I searched her number up on Facebook and there she was, I recognized her by her last name, the H.S. she went to, and umm really old pictures of the guy she left my friend for.

I'm kind of in a moral pickle right now. Will I be considered a piece of shit if I go on a date with this girl? Her and my boy broke up in 2008, I met her once in 2008 (in passing), and I didn't even know it was her at first.

What do you guys think?

No, you need to think with big head not little head here. Ask yourself two things: how good of a friend is he? Might he care?

If he isn't that good of a friend, whatever. If he is, and there is a chance he might not care (if he fucked one of your exes already for example) then maybe.

But if he might care and you do this faggy thing of only telling him after, he might lose respect for you. This "hiding" shit doesn't go over well with most men. This is what women do.

9 years is a long time. He probably won't care based on that alone. You should bring it up to him first because if you do afterwards not only does it invoke the faggy stuff I was just referring to, but you've already made the decision for him. He will know that it's practically too late for him to have any meaningful input because you've taken that from him.

If you care about your reputation, you should fucking should, then that starts by earning it. Men are upfront. Boys and women hide shit until they absolutely must reveal.

I understand that plenty. What I don't understand is why you're so fuckig afraid to ask your best friend. If you're in the right, what's the harm? Why are you hiding it all? Give your friend the opportunity to be a bro and say, "I appreciate you asking, you're a real bro, it's all good with me man". This would be a great social move for you.

Let me also tell you something that I find faggy about your idea. You're acting like a chick because you think "only if it gets serious do I have to say anything". Chicks care about "emotional cheating/relationships", men care about fucking. There is a ton of science that shows men get more angry if they are physically cheated on rather than emotionally. When applied to your situation, your friend might care once you've fucked her, not if you have a relationship.

Be a fucking man dude and just give him the opportunity to tell you it's cool. If he says no, plead your case. If he still says no, then find somewhere else to stick your cock. Also the fact you are posting this here makes me think you might care if the situation was reversed.
