The problem is that women are the only ones who are allowed the vote. Men have to sign up for selective service to gain the ability to vote.

Am I wrong in thinking the draft in the US is largely symbolic now?

Even putting aside that the kind of war that would necessitate conscription of men to send to a foreign theatre seems to be a 20th century relic at this point, my impression of the people in the age brackets that would be drafted were it come to that is that they would simply refuse en masse. And then what? Use violence to force them into it?

I don't enjoy what she's saying, but she is right. I also agree with her no draft, no vote statement.

Give them complete equality until they beg us to stop. Then the discussion changes to questions concerning reciprocity for the preferential and special snowflake treatment they really want.

I find this part to be extremely offensive. So a person who is scared of something that could end in his or her death is a coward? Absolutely charming.
