41 years old, and starting over again…. Right now I have my three oldest 50/50 from first marriage, and my youngest from second marriage every weekend. So here’s the thing, my oldest is off to university, and the 2 middle will still be in high school living 50/50 with me, oldest is on campus. I’ve just accepted a job offer that is about 130 km away, near my oldest university, and I’m considering moving there, but I would lose 50/50. It would have no impact on my youngest. I don’t know what to do. The divorce has me pinching every penny, and even the thought of extra fuel gets me nervous (not to mention that I love seeing my kids). Anybody have any insight, or been through this type of situation?
(I know, shouldn’t have gotten married a second time, shoulda, woulda, coulda stuff). Real advice would help.
