I don't see this as a Pussy Pass Denied argument. Did the crime actually happen? India is still a country where honor killings happen. Arranged marriage still happens and women are killed to keep a dowry. There is no way to claim it did or did not happen. The police failed in their due diligence and the prosecutors may have been bias based on recent social situations. This is a big bunch of screw ups on the part of the Indian justice system, and these men were let free based on the lack of evidence to prove their guilt. False rape claims are horrific, and those false proclaimers should be dealt a heavy hand, but I don't see this being a case that there was any real evidence do prove either side's claim of innocence or guilt.
