My solicitor said it's a 'He said She said' case that'd not get me anywhere. I'd like to know if I can prosecute her / or get compensation or have her cautioned or similar. There's a TL;DR at the bottom.

Near the start of dicorce proceedings I filed for unreasonable behaviour (she was violent and cruel to me, and I did nothing that deserved the treatment) - she then lied to my solicitor saying I'd done what I said she did to me.

This became a stalemate and I felt strongarmed into waiting two years for an 'Irreconcilable differences', I wasn't in a mental state where I could face her then.

She's since dragged it out for a further two years and I'm currently facing having our property equity split 50:50; losing my parents' 50k loan (as it went into the marriage pot), losing all my savings as they went into the offset mortgage (about 70k) and also an amount of inhertiance I used as a deposit (another 50k). I've also spent a small fortune on rent in London while she's been living in our flat paying her £150 a month contribution to the mortgage.

She has no evidence of any abuse, because there was none. She does however have some emails she told me to write, lest I get beaten further. I think this is 'under duress'; confessing the thougths she'd decided I was having - I know that sounds bizarre, but we had a fucked-up dynamic and she is (or was) training to be a therapist and working in mental health. This meand she'd come up with all sorts of 'You're subconsiously... this and that' inevitably plotting against her or trying to cheat (Nether were true, I love her and wanted us to be okay - so walked on eggshells everywhere trying to prevent any upset) - I had a mind-bending fear of her losing her shit at me if I didn't agree.

Tbh I can't even remember what I've said, but it was never that I was abusive or cheating morelike stuff like if she told me I was flirting with someone, and to me I'm just being me - a friendly person with no intent to get a number or be unfaithful (espeically with someone stood next to my wife!!) I'd have to write stuff like 'subconsiously I must have wanted to' etc as denying things like that would end in a beating and then a confession.

Whatever. None of it justifies the aggression she vented on me over our 15 years together.

Anyhoo, I digress:

I have some actual real evidence. Some photographs of bruises on my arms and some bloodied claw-marks on my face, some photos of my trashed room. She was careful not to admit things in email, except once in a letter to my solicitor saying she'd had 'A psychotic episode' - these 'Psychotic Episodes' were twice-yearly, usually. If I didn't kowtow, they'd result in her being physically violent; hair-pulling, biting, scratching, strangling, kicking, etc followed by weeks or months of intimacy starvation, growling, snide comments, repeated going-over everything that I'd 'done' that upset her and asking me what I was doing to stop it happening again (never did we discuss her aggression, of course - I was afraid of triggering her)... eventually including forced sexual acts that make me sick to think about. It was a mess and she still insists she did nothing wrong!

TL;DR: I have photos and some direct evidence of her abuse and a single line saying she had 'a' (!) psychotic episode and one call to the police when she left a message designed to make me think she was going to kill herself and I was too far away to get to our place.

I've been told I don't have enough evidence to prosecute, but I have some and maybe on second examingation in light of recent law-changes there is enough.

She has... weird evidence, which is not based on anything I did to hurt her. (see above)

Is there something I can do? Who should I approach? Police or lawyers or just drop it and get on with life. Suck up the losses. (I'll see if I can find the Imgur link to some of the pics)
